Spiced Citrus Candle

1. Basic Safety Instructions:

• Burn within sight.  Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from things that catch fire.
• Ensure the candle is placed away from flammable objects.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Prevent access to candles by children and animals.

2. Burning Instructions:

• Trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting. Keeping the wick short helps control the flame and prevents soot.
• Burn the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface.
• Avoid drafts, vents, or air currents to prevent uneven burning, smoking, and excessive dripping.

3. Extinguishing Instructions:

• Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle, which helps prevent hot wax splatter.
• Do not use water to extinguish a candle, as it can cause the wax to splatter or the glass to break.
• Ensure the candle is completely out and the wick is no longer glowing before leaving it unattended.

4.  Additional Safety Tips:

• Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent the container from overheating.
• Stop burning when ½ inch of unmelted wax remains to avoid overheating the container.
• Avoid using candles near open windows to prevent fire hazards caused by wind gusts.
